К моей коже липнут города, Небоскребы, мох и борода Моя кожа вся вокруг меня Я завернут до особого дня, Когда они придут меня распаковать И спадут все листья и одежды слов Навсегда очистив ночь от облаков

about

This is the debut album of the Russian experimental group Juice Oh Yeah, whose style is influenced by such genres as stoner doom, blues and artists such as Earth, Morphine and King Crimson. The group's calling card is its original, innovative sound, which is created through the combination of overdriven, high-gain fretless bass and wild, chaotic drums spiced with cowbell. Presiding over this propulsive blend is a powerful male voice, which reverberates amid the groove. Although the music is mainly based on the blues scale, some tracks are standing out for their orientalisms, such as "Krug", melodies and rythms of which are inspired by Klezmer tradition.

The mood of the album, titled Sila Vselennoy (Power of the Universe), can be described as one of pathos. It's enticingly mystical . . . almost religious.

The whole album gives an impression of a dark ceremony; a ritual that ends with the revelation of light.
